We’ve been in Canada for officially 6 days and counting.  We’ve been so busy visiting with everyone, that I haven’t had a chance to post anything.  Not only that, but my husband has my camera while on a camping trip with the guys.  I had no idea how much I would miss that little black box - it is definitely a part of me.  Therefore, no pictures yet.  :(  My husband is driving in tomorrow and I should be able to get a little snap-happy starting on Sunday!!!  Yea!!!!!!!!

Here’s my sweet daughter.  This was taken a few weeks ago, but this is how she *normally* is when she wakes up from her nap everyday.  She is either very quiet like this, or extremely cranky.  I’m always crossing my fingers for the former. LOL

Okay, one more blog entry and then I reeeallly have to finish packing!!

Here’s their cousin, recognize her?! - Miss "S" once again, and this is how I saw her for the majority of the day at the park! LOL  Still love the action though.

I’ll be leaving on a jet plane later this afternoon, headed for the cold white North. . . Canada!  I’m ready to ditch this Texas heat, not for an arctic blast, just something a little more refreshing.  So Canada, if you’re listening  . . . .  LOL

I’m so excited that I have my blog up and running, but I’m still figuring things out.  If it wasn’t for my husband, I wouldn’t have my blog or my web-site. :)  I am so thankful to him for working with me so much.  I’m not the easiest customer. ;)  And he’s spent long painstaking hours helping me with my dream.  Thanks sweetie.

This morning, I have been going over the blog one.more.time to see if I have everything in place and I noticed that I didn’t enable anyone to leave a comment. Oops! That’s remedied now, so feel free to leave me a note just to say hi and let me know that you’ve stopped by. 

Well, it’s back to work time for me.  There are several people waiting on their pictures and I’m trying to edit all these photographs as fast as I can.

I had the privilege of photographing "S" recently.  It’s been wonderful to watch her grow since I have photographed her many times before.  She is displayed throughout my web site quite often, and now she’s in her new starring role . . . . she’s my banner girl.

"S" has the most beautiful, big brown eyes and is an absolute doll.  Now, my daughter is fast, but "S" - she is EVEN faster!!!  I really had a hard time keeping up with her at the park this week.  She had freedom and trust me, she took advantage of all that open space.

I ended up getting lots of pictures of her running from me and the back of her head LOL, but every once in a while, she would look at me with those stunning eyes and I clicked.  We didn’t get many shots, but what we did get was worth it!!

Newborn shoots are always fun and it’s icing on the cake when they’re an absolute dream.  This one certainly fit the bill.  The parents let me take lots of time with their little cutie and the result was wonderful!  Thanks "B" and "A" for letting me capture such a special time in your lives.
